Take Care of Your Skin :
The term 'skincare' always brings a picture full of various creams, moisturizers, toners, cleansers, face packs, and many other things. We use these things to take care of our skin. Sometimes they work, sometimes not.
Whenever I use any skincare stuff my mom always says "You guys are always using so many things still there are problems. In our time we hardly used anything....maybe some homemade face packs and we rarely had a pimple on face." And I give the same answer every time " everything is changed mom.....this kind of pollution was never there on your time."
Well, it's true that time, situation, environment nothing is the same. Pollution is increasing every day and it affects our skin very much.
But is that all?
NO....our lifestyle is the main reason. Back then people were so close to nature. As the saying goes you need to sacrifice something to get something, we have sacrificed that cure-all touch of nature to get easy going, automatic technology-based things in our life. Now we watch landscapes in a high tech iPad or laptop sitting in an air-conditioned room.
Unhealthy Habits Which are Ruining Our Skin :
Sleeping late at night. This is the worst habit we have. Some people have no option left due to extreme work pressure but many of us do it for no reason....just scrolling the phone screen cluelessly and going to sleep after 2 A.M or more maybe. It affects skin-hydration, skin-texture, PH balance of the skin. It also causes an outbreaking of acne.
Insufficient sleeping hours. A person who is sleeping late and getting up early for work cannot be healthy by any means. Sleeping is restoring energy just as we charge our electronic devices to make it work for a long time. Skin fails to recover its moisture because of less sleeping hours.
Late rising in the morning. When you are going to sleep so late at night then it's hardly possible to get up early. Our body needs a sufficient sleep of 7 to 8 hours. It's impossible to be fit and healthy without satisfying that need. Late rising actually makes an unhealthy cycle of daily life. When I am waking up late, it is inevitable that I will be sleeping late.
This change in sleeping habits also changes our food intaking time. If I have breakfast at 10 am or later, my lunchtime also will be changed which is not a part of a healthy life. Sadly enough, the young generation who are not job-holders, live this unhealthy lifestyle most of the time.
Insufficient water consumption. If you do not have enough water inside your body nothing can moisturize your skin properly from the outside. According to many research reports, adult men and adult women should have 3.7 and 2.7 liters of water respectively per day. It not only hydrates and moisturizes our skin but also circulates the essential nutrients to skin cells and maintain the elasticity of the skin.
Using too many chemical products. Not necessarily using many expensive products can help your skin. Whatever brand it is, it definitely has chemical ingredients. Try to avoid ready-made products as much as possible. Use homemade organic face packs that actually can nourish your skin.

No expensive cream can take care of our skin until we take care of our lifestyle. If we can leave these habits there will be no need to apply so much foundation and concealer on skin.
